I used to think that weight loss plans and supplements were a scam.
I’d seen friends get excited about this or that new fad, only to get their hearts broken when it didn’t work.
And I’d experienced it for myself, trying weight loss plans and different supplements that sounded good, only to end up gaining even more back.
So I assumed that none of it worked and I was just destined to always be chubby.
I told myself that there was more to life than being slim, that I was just curvaceous, but it didn’t really make me feel better.
Now, it’s still hard to believe that I’m actually 39 lbs lighter than I used to be!
I tell my friends that if I can do it, anyone can do it.
I was overweight, chronically depressed, on meds, working, and looking after 2 young kids.
Plus, I didn’t have time to exercise, and I just had no motivation because I felt so bad about myself.
How much worse could it be, right?
Looking back now, I fully credit this supplement for saving my life.
So, let me explain how I got here.
I used to be that girl who could eat anything and stay at 120 lbs.
Then I got married and had a baby around a year later.
I gained about 30 lbs during my pregnancy.
And with a colicky baby, then going back to work and having to look after a little one, I actually didn’t notice how out-of-hand my weight had gotten.
But I assumed it would just “go back to normal” after some time.
Until I had my second baby.
At this point, I was about 50 lbs overweight.
Then, I started having weight-related health issues.
Which spiraled quite quickly.
For about 2 years, I battled my way through depression.
And eventually, my doctor told me that if I didn’t make changes, I might not be around to see my kids grow up.
Which shocked me so much that I went home and told my husband I needed to commit to something to lose weight NOW.
(By the way, I have an amazing husband who stood by me through all my struggles, and it’s also thanks to him that I found this amazing solution!)
While we were researching, I kept seeing the words “high cortisol” and “cortisol detox” pop up.
I’d heard about cortisol before but I always kind of thought it was just an excuse to not exercise (I know, right…)
So I brushed it off and decided to join a gym and put a meal plan together.
And I’m sure you can guess how that went.
After 3 weeks, I felt even worse about myself and I canceled my brand new gym contact.
And then I went home and ate a pizza.
When my husband got home, he suggested he keep looking for other solutions (after spending an hour consoling me).
Again, there was “HIGH CORTISOL / CORTISOL DETOX” all over the internet.
So I thought, “Okay, maybe there’s something to this.”
I stopped looking for what to do to lose weight and started looking at ways to lower my cortisol. And that’s when I found this supplement with a ton of amazing reviews and people talking about their huge success with it.
So I went all in… And I’m still all in, 39 lbs down and still losing!
